Booking a consultation is easy. Visit our shops website at riseabovetattoostudio.com and click on the book now button. Choose Brent Lakowsky from the drop-down menu, pick consultation from the service list, then pick your time and date. You’ll be asked to fill out a consent form and upload a few inspiration pictures. If you have any questions before your consultation feel free to reach out.
The time to complete a full sleeve depends on the complexity of the design. Typically it will take anywhere between 6-10 hours for each quarter sleeve. it can take up to 40 hours to complete. How many sessions and an estimated price will be gone over during your consultation.
For tattoos that take multiple sessions I offer a rate of $150/hour. the rate starts at the time of your appointment and ends at the end of your appointment. If you book multiple sessions in advance I offer a whole day rate of $1000 and a half day rate of $500.
That’s ok! In fact it’s better than having a whole bunch of ideas and trying to fit them all into one sleeve. During your consultation we will go over your ideas, look at tattoos or images that have inspired your choice, and we will brainstorm some other possible elements that you may not have thought about already.
Typically you will see the design the day of the appointment. During the consultation we thoroughly discuss the plan, map out the design, and go over all the details for the tattoo. This will give you a general idea of what the whole sleeve is going to look like. Then, for each appointment, we will work on one section at a time. Usually starting at the outer upper arm from the shoulder to the elbow.
If you want to set up a second consultation to view the rough draft before your appointment we can do that to further nail down your idea and fine tune the details. You’ll need to set up the consultation about halfway between the day of your appointment.
